Responding to Colorado Wildfires

Convoy of Hope’s Disaster Response Team shipped a load of relief supplies and dispatched an assessment team to Fort Collins, Colo., as wildfires there have scorched more than 80,000 acres and destroyed 248 homes.

You can support Convoy of Hope’s work in places like Colorado and worldwide.

“This is the second largest fire in Colorado history,” says Karen Benson, global disaster response director at Convoy of Hope. “Our team will assess unmet needs in the area and support the needs of volunteers and survivors.”

The tractor-trailer load of product sent to the area includes: gloves, shovels, contractor grade trash bags, energy drinks and water. The items will be distributed to firefighters, volunteers and survivors.

Convoy of Hope will provide updated information on this evolving situation as warranted.
